Tasting Notes: First light is a wave of creamy vanilla ice cream, aged leather, clove, and brown sugar. Maple syrup sweetness appears with hints of white pepper. Retrohale adds a warming cinnamon burn. The finish is long and clean with additional notes of vanilla bean.
As it progresses, white cake frosting and milk chocolate emerge. Hints of bourbon barrel, raw cane sugar, cardamom, cashew and all-spice are tasted.
Halfway the body of the cigar begins to strengthen. Notes of honey, cocoa, heavy whipping cream and molasses. The pepper grows into a red pepper with a greater bite. The richness and depth of the tobacco increases tremendously.
Last third the blend rounds out and becomes velvety smooth. Licorice, clove, and caramel appear. Buttercream and nutmeg round out the flavors—balancing the cigar perfectly. Additional hints of nutmeg and candied almonds dance on the tongue. So complex and delish!
