The blend is derived from the laborious old world technique in which tobaccos are aged in handmade bales made of royal palm bark. For Macanudo Inspirado Tercio Aged it’s the Dominican Piloto Cubano filler tobaccos that have been chosen to languish in this specialized environment for six months. The result is a cigar that is more refined, complex, and fragrant.
An Indonesian binder encases the Dominican-Colombian filler core, and the cigars are finished with a Mexican San Andreas capa. The result is an intriguing medium-bodied smoke with rich, earthy notes, a smooth white pepper finish, and an alluring aroma.
